This blog is all about making those little shifts in our thinking to create astounding transformations.
The tool I use? It's a nifty little approach I like to call "Pattern, Option, Action."
So here's the drill: each post begins by shining a light on those sneaky patterns in our lives that can occasionally throw us off balance. Next, I propose a fresh alternative, a different angle to jostle us out of our usual perspective. Finally, I dish out some hands-on strategies for you to apply because, let's face it, knowing is only half the battle!
The Three Letters
Instead of playing the blame game and focusing on "WHO" is at fault, explore asking "HOW" to solve the problem.
Instead of playing the blame game and focusing on "WHO" is at fault, explore asking "HOW" to solve the problem.
Pattern
Fixating on "WHO" often leads to frustration and hinders progress.
Option
Asking "HOW" allows you to actively seek solutions rather than dwell on the issue itself. By thinking about "HOW," you actively seek solutions, and you are more likely to arrive at mutual understanding in most situations.
Action
If you notice a friend struggling, ask yourself, "How can I support them? How can I contribute to the solution? How can I be there for them?" Focusing on “HOW” strengthens relationships as you become a source of support and empathy - which deepens your connection with others, and enhances your own sense of fulfillment.
